Matsumoto Airport, officially known as Shinshu Matsumoto Airport(MMJ), is a small regional airport located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. It serves as a convenient air gateway to the Japanese Alps and the scenic Shinshu region. The airport mainly operates domestic flights, with regular connections to cities such as Fukuoka and Sapporo. Surrounded by mountains, it is known for having one of the most picturesque approaches in the country.
