Port of Patitiri
Patitiri Port is the main harbor of Alonnisos island and the central arrival point for ferries from mainland Greece. It is located in a sheltered bay that keeps the water calm and suitable for fishing boats, yachts, and passenger vessels. The port area is also the busiest settlement on the island, acting as its commercial and transportation hub. Along the waterfront there are cafes, tavernas, and small shops where visitors and locals gather throughout the day. From the port, roads and paths lead up to the old village of Chora, which overlooks the sea from higher ground.
