First built in 1953, the Grand Avenue Bridge in Glenwood Springs Colorado has recently been deemed as "functionally obsolete". As a result, construction efforts have begun to upgrade this major throughway widening is lanes and extending a pedestrian walkway. The 30-month project was to update the bridge that extends from downtown Glenwood Springs to the historic Hot Springs Pool.
The camera is mounted on top of the Colorado Mountain College's Central Services Building. A great way to see current traffic flow day or night, you get glimpses of the construction project as it moves along.
