Get a bird's eye view of this American Bald Eagle family located in Decorah, Iowa 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Watch live streaming during the day as the mother and father diligently care for their young providing warmth, safety, and guidance from nesting to flight. The observation cam was set up back in 2007 by the Raptor Resource Project.
Footage from the camera has been used in the PBS Nature Documentary "American Eagle" back in 2008 and has been a constant aid in understanding these majestic creatures and their lives. Equipped with infrared technology, the webcam also provides a clear night time viewing of the family as they slumber. Nesting starts approximately January or February and their chicks hatch around June.
