Jeffersonville is a historic city on the north bank of the Ohio River, directly across from Louisville, Kentucky. The city is known for its scenic riverfront, walkable downtown, and strong connection to steamboat and shipping history along the river. The Ohio River has played a major role in trade, transportation, and settlement in the region for more than two centuries. Visitors enjoy the waterfront parks, riverside restaurants, and views of the busy bridges and boats moving along the water. Jeffersonville is also popular for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, and festivals held near the riverfront throughout the year. The combination of historic charm, modern development, and beautiful river scenery makes Jeffersonville and the Ohio River a favorite destination in southern Indiana.

The webcam is set at Upland Brewing in Jeffersonville and looks out across the Ohio River toward the skyline of Louisville, Kentucky. It captures a lively waterfront scene with passing boats, changing weather, reflections on the river, and the modern city skyline in the background. One of the most eye-catching landmarks visible from the camera is the bright yellow George Rogers Clark Memorial Bridge, often called the Second Street Bridge. The bridge connects Jeffersonville with downtown Louisville and is famous for its large yellow steel structure stretching across the river. Opened in 1932, it was designed by renowned bridge engineer Ralph Modjeski and remains an important historic crossing today. The webcam view is especially popular at sunset and at night when the bridge lights and Louisville skyline create a colorful scene over the river.
