Duluth, Minnesota’s harbor sits on the shores of the massive Lake Superior and serves as a major port for shipping on the Great Lakes. The busy Duluth waterfront welcomes a large variety of lake freighters and other commerce ships on a daily basis, as well as pleasure crafts zipping around the water for a day in the sun.
This high definition webcam is positioned above the treetops to give you a clear view of the harbor and any incoming or outgoing ships. Owned and operated by the Corps of Engineers' Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center, you can check the cam for harbor traffic, see the weather, or to watch ships from around the world enter and exit the Twin Ports.
Canal Cam
The Duluth Canal is an artificial canal that was cut through Minnesota Point. Watch from along the side of the canal as huge ships or flocks of sailboats pass through the cut. The feed also allows you to see crowds walking along the canal, and the two quaint lighthouses positioned at the mouth of the canal.
GLA Cam
From the top of the Great Lakes Aquarium, you’re provided with a live feed of the Aerial Lift Bridge. Converted to a lift bridge in 1930, the bridge dominates the Canal Park skyline and is a well-known monument in Duluth.
Two Harbors Cam 1
Twenty miles east of Duluth sits Two Harbors, named for the two natural harbors formed by Lake Superior that the city sits on. Positioned atop the historic train depot, you’ll be able to watch large ships move in and out of the harbor from this high definition feed.
Two Harbors Cam 2
Watch pleasure crafts and local boats get ready to launch with this feed of the Two Harbors public boat launch on Agate Bay. Watch 24 hours a day as boats motor in and out. In the background, you can see the commercial shipping pier.
Bayfront Cam
Located on the Duluth hillside above the harbor, the bayfront cam shows Canal Park and the Aerial Lift Bridge in the distance, and overlooks the 35. This live feed lets you see out into the open waters of Lake Superior and see ships preparing to enter the canal.
