Sumburgh Airport, HIA Highlands and Islands Airport, Started out a small airport and had its first flight on April 18, 1933. During World War II the Air Ministry overtook the tiny airport, revamping its runways and infrastructure making it the main airport for the Shetland Islands. It is located in the proximity of two archaeologically important sites, Jarlshof and Old Scatness, both of which reach back 4000 years of history.

The camera covers the entire airport allowing for a great view of the arrival from and departure to their various destinations. Daylight views are excellent giving you a good idea of current weather conditions. Night visibility is poor.
