Northern Denmark is home to diverse wildlife, with rich ecosystems ranging from coastal wetlands to dense forests. The region boasts populations of red deer, wild boar, and roe deer, alongside a variety of bird species, including the iconic white-tailed eagle and migrating geese. Protected areas like the Thy National Park and the Limfjorden provide vital habitats for both terrestrial and marine life, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts.

The webcam in Northern Denmark provides a live view of local wildlife in an 11-hectare natural area. Positioned near a stream and an old tree, it captures visits from badgers, foxes, martens, and different birds searching for food. Snacks like peanuts, cat pellets, corn, and sunflower seeds are placed every second or third day in carefully controlled amounts to attract animals without disrupting their natural foraging habits.
