Animal Rescue Station Makov
Animal Rescue Station Makov is located in Nová Ves near Čížová in South Bohemia, Czech Republic, close to the town of Písek, it was founded in 1993 by the Czech Union for Nature Conservation, it is a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center that treats injured, sick, and orphaned wild animals including birds and mammals, its main goal is to rehabilitate animals and release them back into the wild whenever possible, the station also runs educational programs and welcomes visitors on selected days especially school groups and eco-tourism guests, the area includes natural enclosures and aviaries where visitors can observe rescued wildlife up close.
The webcams show different areas of the Animal Rescue Station, including a feeder area, a stork nest, and a pond with swans called Jezírko. The feeder cam captures small wild birds, ducks, and sometimes squirrels gathering around food in a natural forest setting. The stork nest camera follows white storks during breeding season, where you can see nesting behaviour, eggs, and chicks as they grow. The pond webcam shows a calm water area where swans, ducks, and other water birds swim and rest.
