Croatia is a small European country located in the Adriatic sea, approximately 417 km (256 miles) across from Italy. Consisting of over a thousand islands, this little country is renowned for its beaches and beautiful scenery. Its location being an inlet between the Italian peninsula and the main continent gives it the perfect environment for vacationers from around the world keeping the waters calm and inviting. Hvar/Hvar 2

Hvar is one of the most famous islands in Croatia, located in the Adriatic Sea, known for its coastline, historic towns, and clear water. The town of Hvar has a busy waterfront where boats and ferries arrive throughout the day. One live webcam overlooks the entrance to the Hvar port and the Pakleni Islands in front of it. The camera is located just around the corner from the main waterfront, facing east toward the Franciscan monastery. This view shows the harbor, boats, and nearby shoreline. Another webcam is placed in the village of Vrboska on the island of Hvar and shows the local port. Together, these webcams display different sides of Hvar, from the main harbor activity to the quieter village life.
