







Wyoming is home to some of the most scenic mountain resorts in the United States, nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The most famous is Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, located near Grand Teton National Park, offering over 2,500 acres of terrain and a vertical drop of more than 4,100 feet. Other popular destinations include Snow King Mountain in Jackson, known for its night skiing, and Grand Targhee Resort near Alta, which boasts deep powder and stunning Teton views. These resorts attract visitors year-round for skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and mountain biking. The webcam rovides a real-time view of the resort's base area, located at an elevation of 2,436 meters (7,992 feet) in the Teton Mountains of western Wyoming. From its fixed vantage point, the camera overlooks the main plaza where guests gather before boarding the Dreamcatcher and Shoshone lifts, giving clear views of the ski runs that rise more than 700 meters (2,300 feet) above the base. In winter, it captures the movement of skiers and snowboarders across the snow-covered plaza, where temperatures often range from –10 °C to –1 °C, and snowfall can exceed 12 meters (480 inches) per season. In summer, the same scene opens up to green slopes and trails used for hiking and mountain biking, with daytime highs near 20 °C (68 °F).
