The Port of Singapore is one of the world's busiest and most advanced ports, serving as a key global hub for maritime trade. It spans more than 600 hectares and has 67 berths that accommodate thousands of vessels annually. It handles millions of containers and cargo annually, connecting over 600 ports in 123 countries. With its deep-water terminals and cutting-edge technology, the port plays a vital role in Singapore's economy and global logistics.

Tanjong Pagar Terminal was Singapore's first container terminal, opening in 1972, and played a crucial role in the country's rise as a global shipping hub. It had 29 berths and handled millions of containers annually before ceasing operations in 2017 as part of Singapore's port relocation to Tuas. The site is now being redeveloped into the Greater Southern Waterfront, a major urban transformation project. Despite the closure of Tanjong Pagar Terminal in 2017, live webcam still capture maritime activities in the area. The webcam provide real-time views of ships, cranes, and the Singapore skyline, offering insights into port operations.
