The Western Wall, also known as the Wailing Wall, is a 2,000-year-old ancient limestone wall in Jerusalem, part of the original Second Temple. It stretches about 488 feet (148 meters) long and stands up to 60 feet (18 meters) high. It is considered one of the holiest sites in Judaism, where millions of people visit annually to pray and place written prayers into its crevices.
