Berlin City Views
Berlin is the capital of Germany and one of Europe's most dynamic cities, known for its creative energy, layered history, and open-minded atmosphere. The city has a population of about 3.8 million people, making it the largest city in Germany by inhabitants. Berlin's past is visible everywhere, from remnants of the Berlin Wall to grand Prussian architecture and Cold War landmarks. It is a global center for art, music, startups, and alternative culture, attracting people from all over the world. Wide boulevards, vast parks, rivers, and lakes give Berlin a surprisingly spacious and green character. With its mix of history, innovation, and everyday urban life, Berlin feels constantly in motion and endlessly diverse.
Olympiastadion
The webcam offers a panoramic view of Berlin's Olympiastadion, capturing the iconic oval structure of the stadium along with the surrounding Olympiapark and nearby open areas. The Olympiastadion is located in the Westend area of the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district in western Berlin, a part of the city known for its spacious layout and greenery. Originally built for the 1936 Olympic Games, the stadium is one of Berlin's most important sports landmarks and today hosts major football matches, concerts, and large public events. The webcam shows not only the stadium itself but also visible areas around it, including pedestrian paths, sports grounds, and green spaces where locals walk, jog, and gather.
Panorama
The moving panoramic webcam opens in the north and sweeps east, where the foreground reveals part of the Ruhleben waste incineration plant before the view glides past the former Tegel Airport and the industrial outlines of Siemensstadt, with the Märkisches Viertel rising clearly in the distance. At its first pause, the Spandau water tower appears on the right, followed by a dramatic zoom toward the Rudolf Wissell Bridge, a constant river of motion crossed daily by up to 190,000 vehicles. The camera then travels over the Westend district, offering an expansive city panorama that highlights Berlin's mix of greenery, infrastructure, and dense urban life. In the lower right, the Malteser Hospital on busy Heerstraße comes into view, soon joined by one of Berlin's most unmistakable symbols, the radio tower at the exhibition grounds. Turning south, the lens dives into the Grunewald forest, stopping at Teufelsberg to zoom in on the abandoned American listening station, then briefly framing the Grunewald Tower and Schäferberg with its distinctive transmission mast. The final movement heads north to the Olympic Stadium and adjacent Maifeld, with Spandau unfolding in the background, ending on a close look at the old town where St. Nicholas Church stands at the heart of the historic district.
West Berlin
The webcam shows a stunning westward panoramic view toward the heart of Berlin. From this high-rise vantage you can see Berlin Neukölln on the left of the horizon and, in the center of the skyline, the Fernsehturm in Berlin Mitte rising above the city. The wide livestream captures the layered urban landscape between Köpenick and the city center, including rooftops, streets, and distant landmarks as they shift with daylight.
Westendbrücke
The webcam livestream lets you follow the construction of the new Westend Bridge, an important part of Berlin's A100 motorway, directly as it happens. The original bridge was demolished in April 2025 after serious structural damage was discovered, making a complete rebuild necessary. From the fixed camera view, viewers can watch heavy machinery at work, foundation preparation, and the gradual rise of the new bridge structure. The livestream clearly shows how the motorway area is being reshaped step by step over time. The new Westend Bridge is planned to be completed by 2027 and will restore a key traffic connection in western Berlin. This webcam offers a rare opportunity to observe a major urban infrastructure project unfolding in real time.
