The webcams show the popular Pier which stretches 814 feet from the shore into the Atlantic Ocean. One webcam is mounted on the pier itself and is a moving camera that shows the pier from the ocean looking toward the coast. From this perspective, viewers can see people fishing, walking, or relaxing on the pier, as well as beach houses and buildings along the shoreline. The second webcam shows the pier from the coast looking out toward the ocean, giving a full view of the pier’s structure, amenities, and the Atlantic horizon beyond. The pier was originally built in 1953 and has been rebuilt several times after storm damage, with the current version was restored in 2024 after storm damage. Together, the webcams provide a perfect window into seaside life and activity along this charming South Carolina town.
