Sloppy Joe's Bar
Sloppy Joe's Bar is most noted for one of its most famous patrons, Ernest Hemingway. The bar was established in 1933 and has gained quite a bit of fame for its great food, friendly atmosphere, and of course, it's Ernest Hemingway look-alike contest held every year since 1981. It was also referenced in the 1941 movie, Citizen Kane. In 2006, Sloppy Joe's Bar was marked as a historical landmark by the National Register of Historical Places.
