Deshler, Ohio is a small village in northwest Ohio known for its major railroad junction. It became important in the late 19th century after the railroad was built through the area. Two main CSX freight lines cross there at a diamond intersection.

The webcam at Deshler Crossroads Park is located next to the historic CSX railroad diamond. It provides a clear view of one of the busiest freight crossings in the region, where major north–south and east–west rail lines intersect. The camera focuses directly on the diamond, allowing viewers to watch trains pass through the junction in real time. On this line, it is common to see intermodal trains carrying shipping containers, long manifest freights with mixed cargo, unit trains such as coal or grain, and occasional automotive trains. Because the crossing is part of a major CSX corridor, train traffic is frequent throughout the day and night.
