Jorpeland, established as a town only in 1998, was once considered nothing more than a large village. At a little over 1000 acres, this tiny town, also referred to as "Pulpit Rock City" is located closest to the Preikestolen cliff overlooking the Lysefjorden. Surrounded by some of the most majestic mountain's, this is a quiet getaway before hitting the narrow fjord that Norway is famous for.

The camera overlooks the harbor area of the town. Beautiful mountains decorate the background along with the blue waters of the Jørpelandsåna. You get a solid idea of the weather conditions of the area along with a view of the street below. You get a real sense of just how quiet this town really is in the video. During windy conditions, the webcam sways slightly, but otherwise, it remains still.
