The Bonaire Coral Reef is part of the Bonaire National Marine Park, one of the Caribbean's most well-protected and pristine reef systems. It is renowned for its vibrant coral formations, including brain, elkhorn, and staghorn corals, which provide shelter for a diverse array of marine life. The reef supports over 350 species of fish, along with turtles, rays, and occasional reef sharks, making it a paradise for snorkelers and divers. Bonaire's waters are exceptionally clear, allowing for excellent visibility and easy exploration of both shallow and deep reef areas. Conservation efforts, such as strict anchoring rules and limited fishing, have helped maintain the reef's health and biodiversity. The reef's unique underwater topography, with drop-offs, sandy bottoms, and mangrove fringes, creates stunning scenery and rich habitats for countless marine creatures.

The underwater webcam is located at the entrance of Harbour Village Marina, north of Venezuela and east of Curaçao. It sits about 5 m (16 ft) below the surface, giving a clear view of the vibrant coral reef and marine life. The camera moves through a preset tour with six selected viewpoints, allowing viewers to see different angles of the reef and surrounding waters. You can watch colorful reef fish, occasional rays, and other marine creatures as they swim through the clear Caribbean waters. The camera provides a dynamic view, showing subtle currents, waving corals, and natural movement of the underwater environment. This webcam offers an immersive glimpse into Bonaire's rich and biodiverse coral reef ecosystem from anywhere in the world.
