Ubud is a cultural town in the heart of Bali, surrounded by rice terraces, jungle, and traditional villages. It's famous for its deep connection to Balinese art, dance, and spirituality, with places like Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary drawing visitors year-round. Ubud became globally popular after the film Eat Pray Love highlighted its yoga retreats and healing atmosphere. Travelers come for wellness experiences, scenic landscapes, and iconic spots like the Tegalalang Rice Terraces. To get there, most visitors fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport and then take a 1–1.5 hour drive by car or taxi. Ubud has no airport or train station, so reaching it by road is the only option, but the journey offers beautiful tropical views.

Mason Elephant Park/Mason Elephant Park Trail

The webcams at park show tranquil views of the park, including jungle trails and a pond where elephants often walk, bathe, and relax. They capture a calm, natural setting where visitors can observe daily life of the elephants moving through landscaped paths. The park is home to around 30–32 Sumatran elephants, rescued and cared for in a protected environment. It was opened in 1997 as a conservation-focused sanctuary for endangered elephants brought from Sumatra. One of the most interesting aspects is how closely visitors can observe elephants in a setting designed to mimic their natural habitat.
