Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro is a towering Art Deco statue of Jesus standing atop Mount Corcovado, overlooking the entire city. Completed in 1931, it rises 30 meters high with a 28-meter arm span, resting on an 8-meter pedestal above the rainforest. Its soapstone-covered surface gives it a smooth, pale glow that stands out against the surrounding peaks. From the summit, visitors see sweeping views of Guanabara Bay, Sugarloaf Mountain, and Rio's famous beaches. It is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and remains the city's most recognized symbol. Visitors reach it by train or official vans that climb through Tijuca National Park to the viewpoint.

The live webcam covering Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro offers a rotating feed that captures several of the landmark's most impressive perspectives. At intervals, the camera switches between a direct view of Christ the Redeemer, sweeping shots of Sugarloaf Mountain, and broad panoramas of Guanabara Bay. During its closer angles, viewers can partly see the stairs leading up to the platform, along with visitors stopping to take photos in front of the statue. Another webcam provides a different vantage point, showing the monument from the side and back, highlighting its position on the rocky peak of Mount Corcovado. At night, this camera reveals the statue dramatically illuminated with extra floodlights, making the figure glow above Rio and stand out against the dark sky.
