Cape Town Beaches

Cape Town's beaches are famous for their bright white sand, turquoise waves, and dramatic mountain backdrops. Many of them stretch for several kilometers, especially along False Bay, where long open shores attract walkers and surfers. In summer they become some of the busiest places in the city, filled with sunseekers, swimmers, and families escaping the heat. Trendy spots like Clifton and Camps Bay draw stylish crowds, while quieter beaches appeal to those who prefer a peaceful escape. Surfers, kitesurfers, and photographers visit year-round because the coastline offers reliable wind, clean waves, and incredible scenery. Together, these beaches form one of the most popular and diverse coastal playgrounds in South Africa.

Muizenberg Beach

The webcams gives viewers a great look at Muizenberg Beach from two different angles. One webcam is positioned high on the hill above Surfer's Corner, offering a sweeping panoramic view that shows how the beach stretches for more than 20 kilometers along the curve of False Bay. From this elevated angle, you can clearly see the long lines of waves rolling in, making it a perfect viewpoint for checking surf conditions and understanding the true size of the coastline. The second webcam is placed right at the beachfront, close to the sand and the surf schools. This ground-level feed captures surfers paddling out, beginners taking lessons, and beachgoers enjoying the shoreline. Together, these webcams reveal both the vast scale of Muizenberg Beach and its lively, year-round surf atmosphere.
