Tokyo: Rainbow Bridge
The Tokyo Rainbow Bridge is a 798-meter-long (2,618 feet) suspension bridge connecting Tokyo's Shibaura area to Odaiba, completed in 1993. It has two levels: an upper deck for the Shuto Expressway Route 11 and a lower deck for a regular road, the Yurikamome train line, and pedestrian walkways. Designed to withstand earthquakes, the bridge has a clearance of 52.4 meters (172 feet) above the water, allowing large ships to pass underneath.
The Tokyo skyline, with its towering skyscrapers, forms a stunning backdrop for live webcams overlooking the Rainbow Bridge from Odaiba.
