The Main Beach cam looks directly over the lively Beach Area 1 with its boardwalk, long sandy shoreline, and constant flow of summer visitors. The Sunset cam captures the peaceful glow of the sky as the sun sets over Georgian Bay. These cams let people experience the beach's atmosphere in real time, whether it's the daytime buzz or the calm evening colours. In 2025, Wasaga Beach began a major reconstruction project aimed at modernizing and protecting the waterfront. The main beachfront road is being raised and redesigned to better withstand flooding and storms, while outdated buildings along the shoreline have been cleared to make space for new shops, restaurants, and modern mixed-use spaces. The plan also includes new gathering areas, improved pedestrian zones, and upgraded public amenities to create a more vibrant, year-round destination. Even during construction, parts of the beach remain open, and the webcams continue to show how the area is transforming day by day.
