The station handles over 2000 passengers a day. Take a peek into the busy lives of Japanese commuters as they go about their daily travels. Arriving at the kingdom of sweets, you are taken aback by the artistic surroundings the station has to offer. The station is adorned with sculpture and bronze statues. As you step off the train there is a an artistic feel for passengers as they make their way to the entrances.
There are many shops throughout the station offering a whole plethora of goods from umbrellas to the famous Obihiro sweet selection. The camera is trained high above the station's platform to capture the daily lives of ordinary Japanese folk.
